Over 4,500 Oakville residents have installed peaksaver® thermostats and helped to reduce the demand for electricity when it is at its highest. Oakville Hydro continues to support the peaksaver® program in its new form which will be launched in 2012. As information on the Residential Demand Response program becomes available it will be posted on the Oakville Hydro website and also on the Ontario Power Authority site at www.saveonenergy.ca.
Nothing changes if you are an existing peaksaver® customer. You will continue to access your peaksaver® thermostat on-line through www.oakvillehydro.com.
