Rob Lister, P.Eng., MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Rob Lister

With over 25 years of experience in energy management, Rob has extensive expertise in engineering, construction, operations, change management and strategic business development, as well as leadership in competitive new business ventures.

Rob has extensive senior management experience in the energy sector having worked at Toronto Hydro, Earth Energy Utility Corporation, OZZ Energy Solutions and Horizon Utilities Corporation. He is currently a Director on the Board of the Ontario Energy Association.

He is a professional engineer with a degree in Engineering and Management, and an MBA, both from McMaster University.

Mike Brown, P.Eng.

Vice President, Engineering & Operations and Chief Operating Officer

Mike Brown

Mike joined Oakville Hydro Corporation in early 2009. He is responsible for overall power system planning, design and capacity management, and ongoing distribution system operation serving the Town of Oakville.

Prior to joining Oakville Hydro, Mike had an extensive career at Bell Canada and Bell Canada International (Saudi Arabia) where he gained a wealth of utility experience.  He held senior positions at Bell in Business Transformation, Access Network, DC Power, National IP and Switch Core Network Management.

He is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor Engineering (Civil) and earned his Professional Engineer (PEO) designation. Mike also received corporate training in the Strategic Leadership Program (Queen’s), Operations Leadership Program (Queen’s), Six Sigma – Lean Process, Process and Performance Management (Rummler-Brache).

Jim Collins

Vice President, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Financial Officer

Jim Collins

Jim joined Oakville Hydro in December 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years experience building and growing both public and private companies. He recently has been providing contract services including the preparation of regulatory reporting for US and Canadian issuers under US GAAP and IFRS, advising and assisting clients on the acquisitions and expansion, leading budgeting, forecasting and general operational analysis.

Prior to providing contract services, he was the CFO of a public company that processed organic waste and contaminated soil with the objective of beneficial re-use. Other industry experience includes alternative energy generated from fuel cells and biotechnology where he held senior financial positions.

Jim has experience in financial reporting, risk management, planning and operations of both private and public companies. His focus is on continuous improvement for the reporting and management of organizations and has a genuine appreciation of the contribution of all people in an organization.

Julie Millington

Vice President, Customer Services & Organizational Development

Julie Millington

Julie Millington joined Oakville Hydro Corporation in November 2011. She started her career at Canada Trust and held senior positions at Financial Models Company (FMC) and Resolve Corporation. Julie also has experience as an independent consultant, providing Human Resources, Sales & Marketing and Operational consulting to such organizations as Telespectrum; CAA South Central; Viridis Energy; Samarcan Innovations and Alrange Container Services.

Some of Julie’s experience and accomplishments include Call Centre Integration; Call Centre Outsourcing; Merger and Acquisition consulting and Integration; Strategic Planning Implementation worldwide.

Julie completed her Human Resources Management Certification at Sheridan College. Julie is a results oriented individual, with an infectious enthusiasm for people, learning and life. With her extensive customer service and call centre training and experience, Julie understands service and people count. Julie is a customer service driven leader.

Scott Mudie, BSc., P.Eng., MBA(c)

Vice President and General Manager, Renewable Generation & Energy Services

Scott Mudie

Scott Mudie joined Oakville Hydro in 2008 as General Manager for El-Con Construction and Renewable Generation. Now as Vice President and General Manager, Renewable Generation and Energy Services, Scott is responsible for the direction of Oakville Hydro’s unregulated group of companies. He is also a member of the Executive Management team providing leadership oversight for the Corporation.

Scott has extensive experience in operations, engineering and project development and gained experience working in many countries around the world. Scott held management positions with General Motors, Ingersoll-Rand and ConAgra Foods. Scott has a BSc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
