Oakville Hydro Corporation is Oakville's electricity distribution, energy services and construction company. We commit to providing our more than 64,000 residential and business customers with the best energy and conservation solutions available.

Our three well-integrated and complementary divisions are: Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc.; Oakville Hydro Energy Services Inc.; and El-Con Construction Inc.

Through our divisions, we:

  1. Provide safe, reliable and affordable power to our residential and business customers,
  2. Offer electricity Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) programs in partnership with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA),
  3. Deliver innovative, renewable energy generation and energy management solutions to all our customers – residential, commercial and other hydro utilities.
  4. Supply customers with the newest technology in water heaters, metering, underground utility construction and locate services.

Our CDM programs help customers to either reduce their energy use or shift their energy use to off-peak times. These include programs FOR HOME as well as FOR BUSINESS.
