Welcome to Oakville Hydro!

We are Oakville's electricity distribution, energy services and construction company. We provide the best energy and conservation solutions available to our more than 64,000 customers.

Through our divisions, we:

  1. Deliver safe, reliable and affordable power to our residential and business customers,
  2. Provide electricity Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) programs that help our customers either reduce their energy use or shift their energy use to off-peak times,
  3. Offer innovative renewable energy generation and energy management solutions to all our customers – residential, commercial and other hydro utilities.
  4. Supply customers with the newest technology in water heaters, metering, underground utility construction and locate services.

In cooperation with the Ontario Power Authority, conservation programs at Oakville Hydro include opportunities to save on energy FOR HOME and FOR BUSINESS.

At Oakville Hydro, we are committed to building, managing and operating renewable power generation projects including the Green Light Solar Program, the Landfill Gas Project and the New Oakville Community Integrated Energy System.

Introducing Sandpiper Energy Solutions – A division of Oakville Hydro Energy Services Inc.

Sandpiper Energy Solutions provides quality water heating solutions to customers throughout Southern Ontario – renting and servicing premium water heaters from top suppliers and offering products that are energy-efficient and safe.

Although Sandpiper Energy Solutions is a new company, Oakville Hydro Energy Services Inc. has been renting and servicing water heaters for over 30 years.

New brand name, new logo, same great service.
